Welcome to the EDLRIS Online Training Center!
The EDLRIS project focuses on the development and implementation of a professional, standardized, internationally accepted training- and certification- system for Robotics and Artificial Intelligence.
Target groups are
- trainers (e.g. teachers or mentors of clubs/societies) and
- trainees (e.g. students and youths).
What we offer:
- Implementation of a professional training for trainers and trainees with following modules:
- Robotics (Basic and Advanced)
- Artificial Intelligence (Basic and Advanced)
- Cururricula as well as ready-to-use teaching materials for Robotics and Artificial Intelligence.
- Implementation of a standardized, broadly accepted certification of competences of trainers and trainees (similar to ECDL).
- Online material and courses (for trainers/trainees) as well as online certifications.

Robotics and AI
Robotics and Artificial Intelligence (AI) play an
increasingly important role in our daily life. In
this context well-trained persons with a sound
knowledge in these areas are the key for wealth,
quality of life and innovative product development.
Therefore, it is extremely important to familiarize
young people with the technical background
and the fundamental concepts of Robotics and
Artificial Intelligence enabling an economic and
social participation.
Train the trainers
The training comprises several class attendance and on-line teaching units as well as
practical projects (for beginners and advanced trainers). It
will be conducted by researchers and educators following
the concept of ”train-the-trainer”.
Train the trainees
Once the trainers are certified they will start educating trainees in accordance with
the AI curricula developed within project. This training also combines class attendance, on-line teaching units and practical projects for beginners and advanced trainees.
Certification
By completing this training, teachers/mentors (=trainers) acquire a certificate and
will then be able to train young people/students (=trainees)
on a professional level.
Finally,trainees will also have the opportunity to acquire a certificate proofing their AI skills gained.
